Hi there! My name is Michele. I’m a licensed massage therapist in Pennsylvania. I have been in this industry for 14 years. I’m very passionate about massage and I believe anyone can benefit from it. Please read on if you’d like to learn a little more about me.
I graduated from small, but reputable massage school in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The learning process to becoming a massage therapist is very enjoyable. Aside from learning all about the body, I was able to get two massages a week as part of my training as well. Sounds like a pretty cool education to me!
After school was complete, my sister and I had big plans to open a spa together. (She’s a cosmetologist). Well, all of our big plans went out the window when I found out I was expecting a baby. All of my time and energy went into being a new mother. And that’s OK. I loved and still love every minute of it!
Jump ahead 2 years and I decided, I’m going to do this! And you know what? I did! I just up and quit my current job and thought I was going to be super busy and bringing in a steady clientele. Well, it didn’t happen that way. I went all over town hanging fliers and handing out business cards and that really didn’t do much either. I may have gotten another 2 clients out of all that. The best form of marketing I have found was through social media. I kept telling my husband I would never become a social media zombie, but you know what? That was actually the way to go. For me anyway. Michele’s Massage is a well-known and respectable practice in my town. I get a lot more referrals now than social media has ever gotten for me. It was a long road to building up a successful clientele, but with patience and the right marketing strategy, the calls will start flowing in. Oh, and you have to be good at massage!

I enjoy hearing “that was the best massage I’ve ever had”. That’s one thing that always makes my day. I love helping people feel good, feel better. It’s a great feeling when you can make other people feel good mentally and physically. I’ve helped many people, all with very different problems. There are so many modalities out there to learn and share with clients, it’s awesome!
